Following his elevation to the ICC Emerging Panel of Umpires in May 2018, Wilson has stood in matches across India, New Zealand and the West Indies alongside his Australian domestic cricket commitments. Wilson was also named the CA Umpire of the Year for the past two seasons consecutively.

On the domestic front, Wilson has stood on-field in three Sheffield Shield Finals as part of his overall tally of 55 First Class matches. Wilson has also stood in Three Domestic One-Day Cup and two KFC BBL Finals to date.

Wilson’s appointment to the one-off Test Match at Lords will be his first as Third Umpire adding to a further ten 4th Umpire test match appointments. On-Field umpires Ruchira Palliyaguruge, Aleem Dar and ICC Match Referee Andy Pycroft will oversee proceedings.
