Umpires in Tasmania for the Under 18 Female National Championships

Ten umpires from across the country have been selected to officiate in the Under 18 Female National Championships in Tasmania from the 13 – 23 January 2020.

This group of umpires have progressed through the National Championships pathway and to date display the attributes to umpire at the next level.

The tournament, which begun on Monday, has seen T20 matches being played in various venues around Hobart before teams and Match Officials travel to Launceston to play 50 over fixtures for the second week of the Championships.

Six states are represented across the umpire panel which is a testament to the terrific work each of the state and territory umpiring departments are doing in continuing to raise the level of officiating across the country.

The umpires of the Championships are being supported by Tournament Referee Tim Donahoo who will be assisted by Tasmanian Umpire Coach Richard Widows.
