2016-17 WNCL Match Official appointments announced
Congratulations to all Match Officials who have been appointed to the 2016/17 edition of the WNCL
The 2016-17 Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) season commences on Thursday 13 October with two games in Brisbane, including a Grand Final rematch between South Australia and New South Wales at the Gabba. At AB Field, Queensland take on Tasmania. Four further games will be held between the Gabba and AB Field through until Sunday. Meanwhile, three games will also be played over the weekend at the WACA, including Western Australia, ACT and Victoria.
Due to the 'tournament' style nature of the WNCL for a second year, resulting in an in-balance of home appointments, an umpire from the ACT (Andrew Crozier), South Australia (Craig Thomas) and New South Wales (Troy Penman) have been appointed to fixtures this weekend in Queensland.
