Do you coach a junior cricket team in Australia?

24 February 2022

Deakin University is conducting a research project investigating the contemporary training practices of Australian cricket coaches responsible for the development and management of junior pace bowlers.

This involves exploration of training practices such as physical fitness, bowling workload monitoring and management, equipment and training surfaces, and technical coaching.

A greater understanding of these practices will help shape coach education within cricket and may ultimately improve the development and management of junior pace bowlers to reduce their risk of injury and enhance performance.
