29 November 2017

In an industry first, Australian Cricket has offered free Community Coaching Courses this season to further grow and support grassroots cricket in Australia.

More than 3,100 people have enrolled in a course to date, resulting in a 66% increase in Community Coaching Course attendees. Compared to last season, 1,300 more coaches have had access to the game through their involvement in the course. These numbers will continue to increase, as several more courses are scheduled for the new year.

To further highlight the important role Junior coaches play in developing and inspiring future stars of the game, a series of radio ads (which you can listen to below) have been created and will be played during International fixtures this Summer. The ads will not only acknowledge the work of junior coaches, but will also encourage coaches to download the free Australian Way app, as it is a valuable and easily accessible resource. If you are attending an International fixture this Summer, make sure you listen out for the ads and download the Australian Way app.
