The CA Coaching App has been shortlisted for the Yahoo! Sports Technology Awards in the category of ‘Best Technology for Participation’. The Awards have a number of categories covering 50 sports from over 30 countries with the shortlist including the likes of Adidas, F1, NASCAR, Hawk-Eye, Sky and FIFA. Rebecca Hopkins, Sports Technology Awards Group CEO, said ‘We are in the sixth cycle of the Yahoo Sports Technology Awards and this year’s entries, once again, push the boundaries of innovation across the sector. The shortlist highlights frontrunners in every area and proves that these Awards highlight the industry’s technical progress like no other. Every successful brand should be proud to have made it this far given the high standard of competition. We look forward to unveiling the winners on 2nd May in London.’
The creation of the CA Coaching App is one of the most significant ways Australian Cricket has been able to support and promote the ongoing development of the volunteer coaching community, particularly those working with junior participants. This App is helping coaches in their quest to deliver the best cricket experiences to ensure their players are active, have fun, stay safe, develop sport and life skills, which in turn will ultimately help to keep young people participating in Cricket for longer.
