Accreditation
Context - The Representative Coaching Course is designed for coaches working with players or teams at a representative level or within pathway programs. The course will extend your skills as a coach, learning how to progress players to enhance their skills and reach their goals.
Coaches must complete the Advanced Coach modules online before submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) to a Representative course.
Your state/territory conducts the 30-hour face to face course and topics covered include:
- Coach Development
- Developing players
- Identifying talent
- Exploring coaching philosophies
- Technicalities of scoring runs and taking wickets
- Principles of teaching and learning
- Coaching safely
- Managing Stakeholders
- Ongoing program development
How to complete the Representative Coach learning?
Pre-requisites –
- Advanced Coach Accreditation
- Coached for 12 months or more in a formal role as a Community Coach
- Complete an Expression of Interest that demonstrates you are coaching in this cricket context
Registering your Expression of Interest:

Complete an Expression of Interest. Local States and Territories will contact you via email.
Cost – The Advanced Coach online modules are free to all Community Coaches. The 30-hour Representative course will incur a fee charged by the local state/territory association.
Journey – This learning is aimed at the talent cricket context. Coaches must have completed the Advanced Coach Course.
NB: highly experienced coaches and cricketers may be given RPL for the Advanced Coach Course. An example of a coach/player in this category would include Senior First and Second X1 Premier cricket experience as a minimum.
