Grants and Fundraising
What is the Grassroots Cricket Fund?
The Grassroots Cricket Fund (GCF) has been established by Australia’s cricketers to strengthen grassroots cricket for generations to come, and will commit up to $30 million from player payments to be invested to support and strengthen Australian community cricket.
The GCF is a joint partnership of the players, the Australian Cricketers’ Association and Cricket Australia, all working to ensure cricket clubs around the country maintain their position as pillars of local communities by providing equipment and facility upgrade grants.
Equipment Grants applications open May 1st, 8pm, and Facilities Grants are open based on State or Territory.
For the third year running, the Grassroots Cricket Fund made a total of $2 million available to community cricket clubs to deliver great experiences and support to their local communities. We know this season is likely to be tougher than most given the impact of COVID-19, so the Grassroots Cricket Fund is here to help ensure clubs are supported financially so they may continue playing, training and operating. APPLICATIONS OPEN MAY 1st 2021.Express Your Interest
